Shi-Yin is an associate at Floyd Zadkovich, advising clients in the commodities trade, energy, and shipping sectors. She has worked with commodities traders, P&I clubs, multinational corporations, and state-owned entities on complex cross-border transactions and disputes.

Shi-Yin has advised on charterparties, bills of lading, and SPAs, and has assisted in resolving disputes involving cargo claims, marine insurance, and regulatory compliance.

Before joining Floyd Zadkovich, Shi-Yin worked as an Advocate and Solicitor at a top-tier shipping law firm/ based in Singapore, where she represented clients in commercial and shipping matters, and argued applications before the Singapore High Court and State Courts. Shi-Yin has also acted for clients in high-value arbitrations under the ICC, UNCITRAL, SIAC, LMAA, and ad hoc rules.

She has also completed a secondment at a leading global energy company, working closely with commodities traders and in-house counsel and advised on regional regulatory risks, managed the legal and compliance strategy, and negotiated financing, off-take, carbon trading, and operational agreements.

Shi-Yin holds an LLM in International Business Law from the London School of Economics (LSE), where she received a distinction in International Energy Law and made the Dean’s List for Transnational Environmental Law.
