Rufus Constable is an associate based in our London office and is experienced in national and international dispute resolution, with a focus on international arbitration and litigation in the areas of maritime and commodities & trade disputes.

Rufus was admitted to the roll of solicitors in England and Wales in September 2022.

Rufus has acted for shipping lines, commodities trading houses, shipyards, vessel owners and charterers, P&I Clubs and EPC contractors on a range of disputes including charterparty disputes, shipbuilding disputes, contentious and non-contentious energy matters, collisions, and vessel sale and purchase disputes.  He has experience in both international arbitration and in High Court litigation.

He obtained his undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Bristol in 2017. He obtained his GDL from the University of Law in 2018 with a Commendation and his LPC from BPP University in 2020 with a Distinction.

Rufus works in English and speaks basic German.
