Harry is a Paralegal based in our London office. Prior to this position, Harry completed the Bar Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy (ICCA), where he was a major scholar; being awarded both the Lord Denning and Residential Scholarship by the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn. Harry also received the McMahon Studentship from St John’s College, Cambridge, towards the completion of the Bar.

Harry attained a first-class degree in law from the University of Exeter in 2022, receiving multiple academic awards and prizes including: the ‘Contract Law Prize’ for the best performance in contract law out of 450 students, while simultaneously achieving the highest mark in the written paper on penalties, and the Deans Commendation for Exceptional Performance. He was also ranked 5th out of 450 students in his second year of undergraduate study (final ranking not made available).

Having always been interested in maritime disputes, Harry studied Shipping Law and Contracts on Shipment Terms while at Exeter University. He then went on to complete the Master of Law (LLM) programme at Cambridge University, St John’s College.

Alongside his work, Harry has taken up a position as a Visiting Lecturer at the London School of Economics teaching the Company Law module.

Alongside publishing in areas of contractual remedies, he often contributes to areas of Shipping Law; most recently publishing work on the Wrongful Arrest Doctrine titled: “Anchored in Choppy Waters: A Critical Evaluation of the Law of Arrest in English Shipping Law.” Lincoln’s Inn Student Law Journal, Vol VI, (2024).
