The International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) is a worldwide non-governmental organization devoted to promoting the use and improving the process of arbitration, conciliation and other forms of dispute resolution. Its activities include convening international arbitration congresses and conferences, sponsoring authoritative dispute resolution publications, and promoting the harmonization of arbitration and conciliation rules, laws, procedures and standards.
This years congress will be held in Hong Kong, in collaboration with Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.
The theme for ICCA 2024 Hong Kong, “International Arbitration: A Human Endeavour,” will focus on the individual as a participant in the international arbitration system. The Congress will include topics such as: the economics of dispute resolution; culture and semantics; the art of persuasion; ethics and civility; social networks; diversity and inclusion; societal interests; the impact of technology; and training and capacity building. Delegates will hear from scholars, social scientists, futurologists and practitioners.
